Map of Big 4 Labels

With so much consolidation going on in the record industry (the latest news was the acquisition of Chrysalis by BMG Rights Management last week) it’s hard to keep track of who owns what. Indeed, it’s difficult to find any comprehensive list of labels owned by the Big 4 (Universal, Sony, Warner,  EMI). So we decided to make one for ourselves. Below is listed in alphabetical order labels wholly or partly owned by each of the Big 4 music companies.

This is not an official list but we have tried to make it as accurate as possible using as sources the companies own websites as well as 3rd party sites (including Wikipedia). The labels’ international subsidiaries (e.g. EMI Music Greece, Universal Music Japan) are excluded for the sake of brevity.

Hi Marcos,
We specialise in direct-to-fan marketing via internet platforms such as websites and social networks (like Facebook) so we wouldn’t be able to help you with introductions to record labels / agents. If you need help with your online marketing however, please send us an email at hello@amp.ie.
Thanks for reading!
